We’d love to announce the release of another Fliteca solution update, packed with a range of exciting new features and improvements that will make managing your fleet more intuitive and efficient than ever. This latest update, brings enhancements across various areas of the platform, from user settings and mobile UI/UX to vehicle management and subscription handling. Let’s dive into what’s new!
Addition of User Settings
Customizing your Fliteca experience is now easier with the addition of a user settings page, accessible via the new settings icon located in the navigation bar next to your profile. The initial set of configurable options includes:
- Date and Time Formatting. You can now tailor how dates and times will be displayed across the platform.
- Map Location and Zoom Level. Set your preferred map view on initial load.
- Experimental Map Refresh Periods and Trail Lengths. Adjust how frequently your maps refresh and the length of visible trails. We’re planning to release experimental features that our users can test out before their widespread release, thus make sure to always check that screen for any new hidden gems!
A lot of user experience (UI/UX) improvements!
- Navigating Fliteca on mobile devices is now more seamless. We relocated the language switcher and documentation button to the sidebar, decluttering the main interface and making key functions easier to access.
- We’ve improved Login and Registration forms to indicate whether duplicate company is already registered!
- Each widget on your dashboard now features a loading animation, providing a smoother and more informative loading experience.
- Clicking on a vehicle name in the vehicle table will now zoom the map to that vehicle’s location, making it easier to track specific assets.
- We’ve added a new GSM signal icon to the vehicle table, providing at-a-glance signal strength information.
Performance and Security improvements
- We’ve added CRC validation for Teltonika Telematics trackers, enhancing data integrity.
- We’ve implemented additional protections for IO decoding, ensuring more reliable data processing.
- A loading animation now provides visual feedback during subscription processing.
- We’ve fixed subscription detail specifications. We have fixed them to align with the main website, ensuring consistency and clarity.
