As 2024 comes to an end, we’d like to present you with the latest Fliteca solution update of the year. This update brings enhanced security, a reimagined vehicle view, and significant improvements to alert and permission functionalities.
Focus on security
A major highlight of this release is the addition of Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), ensuring an extra layer of security for your Fliteca account. With 2FA, users can protect their accounts with a second verification step, reducing the risk of unauthorized access. You can enable this feature in the User Settings under the Security tab and follow the guide there.
User experience improvements
The Vehicle View has undergone a complete transformation, evolving from a dialog-based interface to a fully-fledged page design. This new layout consolidates all essential information about a vehicle in one place, including details like general info, location, tracker data, attachments, media timelines, service reports, and fuel reports. Designed with a dashboard-like appearance, the new vehicle view provides a consistent and responsive experience across devices, ensuring you have everything you need at your fingertips.
The alerts system has also seen considerable improvements. Now, you can select individual employees to receive alerts, even if they don’t have alert permissions assigned to them. Additionally, we heard the feedback and cleaned up the entire alert form! To further assist users, the form now includes an info message at the bottom that dynamically explains the behavior of your alert configuration as you fill out the form.
We have Improved Permissions creation and editing workflow. You can now select Employees during the permission creation process, allowing for greater flexibility in access control. The forms for creating and editing permissions have been redesigned to ensure a cleaner, more consistent visual style and improved responsiveness.
