After longer than usual delay between releases, we are proud to announce, another major update to the Fliteca Fleet management application, available from September 15, 2024. This update focuses on helping you better organize your fleet and stay informed with powerful new geo-zones and alert functionalities. Let’s look through, on what we were working for the last 2 months!

Vehicle grouping

Organizing your fleet just got easier with the introduction of vehicle groups. You can now cluster vehicles with “tags” that are applied in the Vehicle management window.

This grouping will not only let you differentiate between different types of vehicles, but also provide bulk visibility changing tools in the Map view.

Geo-zones

We’re proud to present the first integration of Geo-zones into the Fliteca. This development not only extends on our current functionality, but will serve as a strong foundation for future developments.

A new Geo-Zones tab is available, where you can manage/draw your custom geozones and later connect a specific alert to them. Currently, we support circle, square and polygon shapes, so we believe, it will fit any user need.

We believe, that geo-zone management from server-side is more efficient rather than using build-in tracker features. This is because servers have a lot more resources and won’t limit you by embedded tracker resource limits. For instance, with Teltonika trackers, you can configure polygons up to 10 points, but here – there is no such limit!

Alerts

In addition, we’d like to announce Alerts – a new way to interact with Geo-zones and better understand changes in your fleet, even when you’re not looking! Currently we’re only supporting alerts for geo-zones, but in the future we’re planning on integrating io elements and providing you tools to easily integrate Fliteca into your specific industry. Currently, users can receive alerts via emails, in-app notifications, or both, ensuring you’re always informed about your fleet’s movements

We look forward to your feedback on this release. Your input helps us continue to refine Fliteca to meet your needs! And as always – thank you for being a part of the Fliteca community.

Happy tracking!

– Fliteca Team
