Parking lot full of trucks

We are excited to announce the release of FMS v.0.16-beta, packed with new features, improvements, and extended device support to further streamline fleet management. In this release, we focused on tracker communication functionality introduction, but let’s take a look at what’s new!

New Features

Enhanced Communication with Trackers

You can now send commands directly to your trackers! This feature allows you to change config, get additional debug information for easier maintenance and management of your fleets hardware. We’ve added Tracker Command Table under Management > Communication to manage these commands. Also, Bulk command sending is supported directly from the Tracker Table, allowing you to send commands to multiple trackers simultaneously. Currently, we only support Codec 12 data sending to Teltonika Telematics trackers, but we’re excited to build a framework, where multiple future trackers can be added

Of course, we had to redesign the dashboard, to give a better overview

File Attachments in Reports

We’ve added file upload functionality, enabling you to attach relevant documents – you can now upload documents to Service reports, Fuel reports, and Employee records. This will help youk eep all necessary documentation in one place for easier access and organization.

Improvements

Alerts & Geo-zones

Alert notifications have become even more insightful. Notifications now include the timestamp of the tracker data that triggered the alert. You can now create alerts without having to select a geo-zone. we listened and made improvements to the alert creation/editing forms for better responsiveness and lastly – disabled geo-zones no longer generate notifications or emails, and they will be visibly marked as disabled in the geo-zone selection form.

Search Functionality

Searching for vehicles just got easier – The Vehicle search on the map and in the analysis section is now case and diacritics insensitive. For example, “e” matches with “Ė” and “ę” matches with “E”.

Improved Tracker Data Processing

Our tracker data handling is now even more robust – We’ve enhanced support for the Teltonika Pro series IO elements, expanding beyond Teltonika Telematics – Standard trackers to also include Professional (FM-6 devices) series IO elements. For more details, please refer to our support documentation here.

As always, we look forward to your feedback on this release. Your input helps us continue to refine Fliteca to meet your needs! And as always – thank you for being a part of the Fliteca community.

Happy tracking!
