We’d like to announce the latest release of Fliteca application, available from July 25, 2024. This update introduces powerful new features and essential improvements designed to enhance the efficiency and user-friendliness of our fleet management system. New Features
Bulk Edit
Managing large datasets is now more efficient with our new bulk editing capabilities:
- Editing Records in Bulk. You can now edit multiple records simultaneously in tables for vehicles, trackers, service reports, and fuel reports, saving time and effort.
- Bulk Actions. We’ve added Checkboxes to tables, allowing you to perform bulk delete and visibility changes in the vehicles table.
- Global Search. We’ve added a new search field to all the tables. This enables searching across all unconstrained text columns for quicker and more comprehensive data retrieval.
Improvements
Vehicle Map, Analysis, and GPX Export
- Search in Vehicle Selection Dropdown: Finding specific vehicles is now easier with the added search functionality in the vehicle selection dropdown.
Map Enhancements
- Awareness of Disabled Vehicles: The vehicle map dropdown now recognizes disabled vehicles, providing a more accurate view.
- Resizable Sidebar. The vehicle map sidebar is now resizable with a pane layout, offering more flexibility in how you view and manage your data.
Vehicle Table
- New Import Option. A new import template allows bulk changes to vehicle names by uploading corresponding tracker IMEIs, simplifying bulk updates.
- Delete Protection: To prevent accidental deletions, vehicles with assigned trackers cannot be deleted, ensuring data integrity.
Emails
- Merged Notifications. We decided to merge MOT and insurance warning and expiration emails into single notifications. We believe, that this reduces inbox clutter and improves communication efficiency.
Bug Fixes
UI/UX Enhancements
- Extended Table Heights. All tables now extend to take up the entire page height on desktop, providing a more comprehensive view of your data.
- Extended Dashboard Layout. The dashboard layout has been adjusted to fill the entire page height on desktop for a more immersive experience.
- Mobile Browser Adjustments: The application height is now fixed to adapt correctly to mobile browsers, improving usability on the go.
