We are thrilled to announce the release of FMS v.0.17-beta, bringing exciting new features, valuable improvements, and essential bug fixes to enhance your fleet management experience. This update focuses on expanding functionality, refining user interactions, and ensuring seamless operations.
Vehicle media telematics
One of the standout additions in this release is vehicle media integration. With this new feature, you can now access and view media telematics data associated with your vehicles. We introduced the support for all Teltonika video solutions! This data is displayed in multiple areas of the platform. For instance, when viewing a vehicle’s track on the map, any media captured during the corresponding time range will appear alongside the track for better contextual understanding. You can also access vehicle media directly from the vehicle table or while editing a vehicle’s details, making it easier than ever to stay informed and manage your fleet effectively.

Permission management improvements
We’ve also introduced a fine-grained vehicle access permissions system, giving managers greater control over who can access specific vehicles or vehicle groups. Employees with assigned vehicles or groups will see all relevant resources filtered to show only the data tied to their permissions. These resources include service and fuel reports, graphical and table analyses, and even dashboard widgets. For managers, assigning a vehicle group is particularly convenient, as any new vehicles added to the group will automatically inherit the assigned permissions.
Quality of life improvements
Our mapping capabilities have received a significant upgrade as well. We’ve added a satellite layer to the map – you can access it via a new layer configuration menu at the bottom left of the screen. This enhancement allows users to gain a different perspective on their fleet’s location data.

In terms of usability improvements, this release brings a smoother authentication process. You will no longer need to log in again after returning to Fliteca, even after 24 hours of inactivity. Additionally, notifications are now more noticeable! A red bubble indicator appearing in the browser tab will alert you of any unread updates. These changes aim to improve convenience and ensure you never miss critical information.
Finally, we’ve addressed several bugs to ensure the platform runs as smoothly as possible. We’ve heard of users having issues with graphical analysis on Firefox, so we found the issue and resolved it.
We hope these updates make managing your fleet easier and more efficient. As always, we look forward to your feedback and suggestions to make Fliteca even better.
Happy Tracking!
